A monumental 1990s Contemporary glass vessel by David Lewin. A California based artist with Asian influences from years spent studying in Japan; David has also been published in the American Craft Magazine as well as the Corning Museum's New Glass Review. This vase created 1992, construction with deeply cut and/or sandblasted geometric designs and Judaic subject matter electroplated patinated copper applique and a secondary blown glass vessel encapsulated in a copper cage. Signed "Lewin 92". Accompanied by original receipt from Regional Glass Invitational Wheaton Village Millville New Jersey, original placard price tag and other documents, just over 26 in.
