River Road Chili
Directions: Brown 3 pounds hamburger meat or chili meat. In meantime bring 3 quarts water to a boil in large pot. Once meat is browned, mix in chili seasoning package with meat and blend well. Add this mixture to boiling water and add 1-15oz. can of tomatoes and 1-15oz. can of tomato sauce. Simmer for 20-25 minutes. Yield: 20 cups. Hint: If you prefer your chili to be real thick & hearty, add less water. Rotel tomatoes can be substituted for regular tomatoes if you prefer a zestier flavor. Beans of your choice may be added.
