Be careful and watch out for the bandits who may try and steal your soup 1.5 lbs Chicken 3 qts Cold Water (Use less for thicker soup) 15 oz diced tomatoes Add 1 1/2 pounds of chicken to 3 quarts of cold water Bring this to a boil and slowly add in soup packet along with one 15 oz. can diced tomatoes Occasionally stir to prevent lumping Cook for 25 minutes Ladle into soup bowls, garnish with shredded cheddar cheese or your favorite cheese. Serve with fried corn tortillas, your best cornbread or crackers. Yield 17 cups.
