Bees-Starter/Nucleus Colony-Deep Frame-OVERGROWN!
We are not selling nucs in 2026. This because of the Bee Die-off of 2024-25; we are reselecting stock that is resistant to virus and Nosema based stressors. This is a rebuilding year. Queens are still available late-May to September. These are not on medium frame they are on DEEP frames, usually overgrown loaded with bees, honey and burr comb. So many bees they are likely to swarm if left in this box for for more than 2 weeks. We can not guarantee which breed of bee, since these are usually quick splits in the flurry of Spring crazy season. We love our friendly little honey bees, and the honey that the work so hard to make. We now sell both honey and honey bees. We have been awarded 8 grants from the US Department of Agriculture, by the Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Experiment (NESARE) grant program.
