Cleveland Guardian of Traffic Coffee Painting Fine Art Print
About the artwork: The Hope Memorial Bridge, located in Cleveland Ohio, opened in 1932 and has four statutes with the Guardians of Traffic on each side for a total of eight figures. Each of the Guardians holds a different mode of transportation, the one I painted has the stagecoach. I love how beautifully sculpted these statues are and the Art Deco look they have. This one in particular is closer to Ohio City where I like visiting the West Side Market or stopping at one of my favorite ice cream shops on my way through. I fell in love with Cleveland after working downtown for about a year. I visit frequently and it leaves me feeling inspired. There are a ton of places to explore in Cleveland if you get the chance to go. The original painting was created on canvas by drawing in pencil first and then painting with coffee from a local coffee shop in Northeast Ohio.
