Garnet Drop Earrings

These dainty garnet drop earrings are a sensual deep shade of red with a bit of purple and delightful mossy flecks trapped under the surface. They are so light and easy to wear while still making a subtle impact. This color is beautifully accented with the oxidized sterling silver wire that I used to carefully wrap the gemstones and the simple but nicely detailed earwires that finish the look. These earrings measure just under 1" in total length and are 3/8" wide. Garnet is the traditional birthstone for January and is associated with the root chakra. The color has long been symbolic of love, passion, and courage.
