Morakniv knives are made in Sweden, and they’re the exclusive knife used to produce those weirdly sweet meatballs they serve at Ikea.  Design meeting for those meatballs:  Hey Linnea, what should the texture be on these things?  Ebba answers: We could do a nice gelatinous goo!  Linnea: Sounds great!  Can it also be sweet, like a sack of Frutti Topps?  Ebba: Awesome idea! When I think meat, I think sweet!   You need a sharp knife to cut the smell produced by Surstromming, aka Sour Herring, and Morakniv is known for sharp knives.  They’ve been making knives in Sweden since 1891, which is somehow construed as 400 years in Swedish time.  Still, 130+ years is a long time, and we reckon it’s long enough to figure out how to make a sharp knife.   Moraknivs are notable for being stout and incredibly sharp.  The blades are thick and hold an edge well, but they’re also easy to sharpen, if the time should come.   The Eldris model is short in blade but big in handle.  That means it’s easy to hold
