The Hat

11x14  The afternoon sky is reflected on the red floors pulling the red almost into blue.The peeling yellow paint on the moulding around the door pulls the blues into the bedroom. The tete a tete between all the warm tones of the reupholstered chair, the Sal Del Deo painting , and the rug are over there. Over here, we are in the nook of a bedroom in a different light a blue green light. And then there is a hat.The stories this house can tell and will tell.  I leave my signature in that blue light from the window you don't see.
