Ancient Greece. Mysia, Lampsacus, c. 390-330 BC. Small silver Obol. The front depicts a Janiform female head, with circular earring / The back shows the helmeted head of Athena facing right. Measures 11.60 mm, weighs 0.81 grams. Literary/scholastic references: SNG von Aulock 1294 for type. Grades VF with nice gray toning, edge chip. Very nice detail for these very early types!
