CR3352: Constantine The Great Roman Coin

Ancient Rome. Constantine I “The Great”, 307-337 AD. Bronze nummus, struck 324 AD. The front depicts his rosette-diademed, draped, cuirassed bust facing right, inscription CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG / The back shows two soldiers holding spears and shields with one Legionary standard between them, inscription GLORIA EXERCITVS around; Mintmark: SMANA = Antioch mint. 17mm, 2.69 grams.
