One-of-a-Kind: Overdyed Four Patch Flora Jacket (M)

This Flora Jacket is made from a lightweight quilt that was hand-pieced and quilted in a classic Four Patch pattern. This quilt came to me very well-loved, with lots of fading from the sun and being washed over its lifetime, but also had very prominent discoloration from being stored. I did my best to remove as much of the staining as possible though multiple soaks and drying in the sun, then ultimately decided she was the perfect candidate for being overdyed! It's safe to say she's even more beautiful in this peachy shade, further complemented by my very favorite vintage whole feedsack used for the front plackets and inner collar, as well as to bind the outer edges, pockets, and sleeves. This style jacket features a scooped side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets.
