Low Country Gold - Belgian Tripel Belgian Beer Kit Style: Belgian Golden Trappist Ale ABV: 7.4% Color: Deep Golden There's a lot of variation in the Trappist style ales.  Our Belgian Tripel is relatively pale in color, has a strong bread-like maltiness, and it's stronger in alcohol.  No lactic acid bacteria are during fermentation, so there is no acidic sourness in the flavor profile.  Made with continental European hops, a combination of German and Belgian barley malts and Belgian candi sugar (beet sugar.)  Tripel should be bottle aged for at least 3-6 weeks, but will continue to improve for many months.     All our Beer Kits come in a variety of Formulations with two yeast styles and enough ingredients to make 5 Gallons.
