For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Circa 1987 Sheaffer Targa Slimline Fountain Pen, Model 1027s, in the Laque Ivory pattern. This fountain pen comes with the scarce Slimline ink converter. This particular model is considered scarce to acquire and was only in production from 1986 to 1987. This fountain pen was part of a purchase from a Stationary Store in Georgia where I acquired nearly 90 New Old Stock Fountain and Ballpoint Pens in the Targa design - this is just one of them. This writing instrument is a Sheaffer Targa Slimline Fountain Pen and is model number 1027s with production beginning in 1986 till 1987. This Sheaffer Targa displays an Ivory laque finish with 23-carat gold electroplated trim and a 14-carat solid gold Broad nib. The depth and quality of this finish are a result of being individually hand lacquered 14 times and polished to a deep, luminous glow. It is fitted with a 14-carat solid gold juicy Broad nib.
