1940s black mesh women's shoes with comfortable, low chunky heels by Red Cross Shoes. Black mesh fabric with black leather details; bow and buckle ornamentation; interior modesty toe/heel guards; black painted wooden heels; durable leather bottoms. Remnants of the price tag still inside. Stamped inside: Red Cross Shoes Size marked 7 1/2 narrow, but please refer to the shoe measurements: Width at ball of foot: 3" insole / 3 1/8" outside Length: 9 7/8" (insole) / 9 1/4" outside Heel Height: 1 3/4" Excellent condition - barely worn with just a little bit of scuffing to the leather at back of heels.
