1940s Tilt Hat Dark Green Velour Tilt Hat 21"

Chic 1940s tilt hat from Knox, Fifth Ave. New York Constructed of fine, imported dark green velour (felted wool); green grosgrain ribbon around crown. Rolled brim finished with grosgrain trim. Green and brown feather pick sits within the rim - the pick is not attached. Hat measures 21 1/2" in circumference. Labels: Knox / Designed to Fit a 22 1/2 Headsize Very good condition: Small cut (fingernail?) in the rim at back, near the end of pick. Light stains to grosgrain band. Feather pick looks like a recent addition. Clean and definitely wearable for many years to come.
