Edwardian Darning Mushroom Wood Darner Treen England 1900 Sewing Ebonized

This is an antique Edwardian era English darning mushroom or darner made of black ebonized wood or treen with a turned handle. The antique turned wood handle has 2 incised rings and is in two pieces, as the head removes from the handle. The darner was made in England 1900-1910 and measures 4.5 inches long by 2.15 in diameter. I would call the condition good ++ because of an extensive number of dents, cuts and signs of use, which is actually great antique patina.  A lot of character and is very collectible. Neat! The darning tool is a great decorative accent as well and a great vintage sewing gadget.
