English Kniferest Pair Gingko Leaf Ends Edwardian Silver Plate 1900s

This is a pair of vintage art deco English silver plate knife rests or knife holders made with a trefoil gingko leaf end design made in the 1900-1910. Each silver plated knife rests measures 2.75 inches long and are 1.75 inches high and wide and are in excellent used vintage condition with no plate loss. A great item of kitchenalia, victoriana as well as a wonderful way to keep your table cloth clean by supporting your knife.  Knife rests are enjoying a renaissance for use on dining tables, tea tables...I have even supplied knife rests for use at sommelier tables and Chef's tables at restaurants!
