This is a tea caddy, tea canister or glass storage jar of clear glass with a ribbed surface that reminds me of a beehive of bee skep with a wood lid fitted with a metal bail closure and original rubber freshness seal from the 1990s.  The tea caddy or strorage jar measures 6 inches high by 4 inches in diameter and is in very good +++ used vintage condition with a tight fitting lid and bale closure.
