Tea Caddy Canister Jar Ribbed Glass Wood Lid Metal Bale 1980s 4.5 Inch

This is a tea caddy or tea canister of clear glass with a ribbed surface that reminds me of a beehive of bee skep with a wood lid fitted with a metal bale closure and original rubber freshness seal. The tea caddy measures 4.5 inches high by 4 inches in diameter and is in very good +++ used vintage condition with a tight fitting lid and bale closure.   The tea caddy is a very decorative addition to kitchen or desk and could be used for a lot of things beside teabags, although the tea bags would be very attractively displayed through the glass.
