This is an extremely early Hijack (the progeny of famed street artist and Banksy collaborator; Mr. Brainwash ) silkscreen print. These early Hijack prints have become extremely coveted. This specific work shows a young child in a hoodie with a spray can. The child has sprayed ”Dream with your eyes open” (using an anarchy symbol) in large print . The print is monochrome, The letters a bright hue of red. Both the colors of the print versus the letters and the size of the subject versus the letters are an excellent early example of the signature, playful juxtapositioning that we have seen so often in the artist’s work, throughout the years.
