October Story (Silkscreen)

”October Story” is a stunning screenprint by Takashi Murakami. The work shows Murakami’s signature flowers, outlined in a pink hur, against a purple backdrop. This is an absolutely gorgeous edition; while most of Murakami’s editions are lithographs (editions of 300), this is an actual hand pulled silkscreen, edition of only 100 works. The purple and pink hues work wonderfully with this composition; this is Takashi Murakami and his “Superflat Method” at it’s best. The work, is of course, hand signed and numbered by Murakami in the bottom margin with graphite pencil. The work will arrive in its original flat pack as it was issued by the publisher in 2019, the work has never been removed from the original flat pack or displayed.
