LT-3100 Satellite System
Description LT-3100 Satellite System 3-5 Day Lead Time***Bracket Mount Not Included*** Lars Thrane A/LT-3100 S's Satellite Communications System is a naval fixed Iridium satellite phone. The LT-3100 system is intended for professional use (deep sea, fishing, and workboats), although it can also be utilized for recreational purposes. The LT-3100 system complies with all applicable international standards and certification requirements for maritime satellite communication equipment. Performance With 100 percent global coverage, the LT-3100 system provides voice and data capabilities. A control unit, handset unit, and antenna unit make up the LT-3100 system. The control unit and the antenna unit are connected by a single cable. Up to 500 meters of separation between the units can be achieved using a regular coaxial cable, allowing the antenna to be mounted in the best feasible location with clear line of sight to the satellites. The LT-3100 system can be used as a principal satellite communication device on ships, meeting the basic communication requirements in terms of ship-to-shore connectivity. The LT-3100 system can also be utilized for crew communication or as a backup satellite communication system. With reasonable airtime costs, the LT-3100 system includes voice, SMS, data, vessel tracking, and other Iridium services, making it the ideal satellite communication device for any yacht. With a working temperature range of -250C to +550C (-130F to +1310F), the LT-3100 Iridium Communications System is developed and engineered for the tough and rugged conditions at sea. Installation The LT-3100 system is very easy to install and requires no yearly maintenance or service. Everything is included in the box to get started with the installation and operating the LT-3100 system. The control unit can be installed using either a bracket mount or flush mount. The antenna unit can be mounted using either a pole mount (1.5″ tube) or angle bracket mount (1″ to 2.5″ tube). The control unit has a large 4.3″ TFT display, from where the system can be operated with overview and ease. The built-in webserver can be used for service and maintenance.
