Jeff White Blank #8 (French Trade)

This blade blank hails from the workshop of Mr. Jeff White, a smith of good standing, whose blades are known for both their honesty and fine temper. Forged of high carbon steel (ANSI 1095), this blade hath been hardened to a Rockwell measure of 59 (HRC 58–60), and sharpened to a most serviceable edge. This particular blank: Bears a full tang with a flat-ground edge, made for strength and lasting use. The handle end is formed in the fashion of a French knife.  Measures 9 inches in total length, with the blade itself being 5¼ inches. Blade thickness is 3/32" (0.085"), and width is 1 inch. Our hand-made Leather Sheath “C” is crafted to fit this blade with precision. This blank awaits the setting of a handle.
