ITEM DESCRIPTION This is a personal note written to a Ms. Bishop from Jacqueline ‘Jackie-O’ Kennedy on March 25, 1992. Apparently Jacqueline forgot her wallet in a taxi and it was found and returned to her by Ms. Bishop. The note is typed on customized personal letterhead in a beautiful baby blue color, typed in black ink and dated and signed by hand in gray ink. The letter reads: “Dear Ms. Bishop- You will never know how relieved I am to have my wallet back, or how grateful I am to you for returning it to me. I had given up any hope of ever seeing it again, so you have done me the greatest favor possible. With deep appreciation, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. It is lovely that there are people in the world like you.” This letter is in pristine condition and is framed altogether with a cover of the May 30,1994 New York Magazine issue, featuring a black and white portrait of Jackie-O.
