This is a traditional Japanese Shishito pepper are 2-4", heavilywrinkled peppers with thin-walls that are mild (no heat) when green, and slightlysweet and spicy when red. Popular in Japan where its thin walls make itparticularly suitable for tempura. This is also a great substitute for a green bell pepper.
