Ancient Sword Earrings

This pair of brass and copper earrings look like they have been waiting buried for ages for the right person to come by. (In reality, they're brand new.) Each item is hand made and therefore may have evidence of the maker in the form of tool marks, solder lines, and imperfections. This is part of the charm in handmade objects because every one keeps a piece of human touch. These have 100% copper hooks. To clean your jewelry, soak it in warm water with a few drops of phosphate and ammonia free dish soap. Dry with a microfiber cloth to prevent scratches. For tough dirt, make a paste of baking soda and water and use a soft toothbrush to gently scrub. Rinse well with warm water and dry with a microfiber cloth. (Note: cleaning may remove any added patina.)
