1901 Selvedge Denim - Kaihara Mills

     The 1901 Selvedge is Arcane's limited edition raw selvedge denim. We built these to be the perfect year-round essentials. The gorgeous and hearty but light weight 12oz denim is sourced from the famous Kaihara Mill in Japan, renowned as one of the greatest denims in the world. Kaihara's obsession for craftsmanship and detail is evident in their beautiful heavy duty selvedge and produces a comfortable long lasting raw denim that breaks in with perfection. The slim but comfortable cut holds its silhouette while doing what selvedge does best and breaking in specifically to your body's stress points.       We built in a few elusive details that are hard to come by in the selvedge denim world, starting with the sought after Kaihara fabric and ending with the simple and elegant pocket stitching, brass zipper fly, and hand cut and finished leather patch.
