Jolly good then, it's the 1968 pattern British DPM smock! Commonly referred to as the '68 Patt, this thing has been around a while and maybe seen or done some bad stuff. You what? Upgraded in the 80's, the 68 Patt has had plenty of time to be manufactured by a variety of people, for a variety of people and configured for specialty units. This smock is the generic ''combat smock''. Good-o! This combat smock has two sets of flat pockets to store most of your bits but if that's not enough, one to the shoulder and one interior to the back. There is also a para-style flap that fastens to the opposite side of the jacket and stops it riding up. The draw string waist and bottom stop cold drafts moving upwards and has thick, lined cotton construction to keep you warm.  Now in classic oldschool DPM fashion, the colouration as a batch are all over the show.
