Loden Suede is tanned at Charles F Stead Tannery in the UK, known for their rugged suede. Typical suede is created by splitting the hide into many thinner pieces, to maximize yield. This suede clocks in at a hefty 2.4mm, which makes it thicker than most full grain leathers. It is a soft and smooth leather which makes for an incredibly comfortable boot. The color is hard to characterize, depending on the lighting it can look green, gray, or brown.  Sizing: These fit slightly larger than the Kudu version.
