Zaatar

Our Zaatar is a tribute to the original Za'atar hailing from the Middle East. The original Za'atar consists of the herb Za'atar and Sesame Seeds. However, since it is not easy to source this herb, we have created a version that is herb-forward with organic Marjoram and Oregano, Thyme, Parsley and other herbs along with Lime and Lemon Peel for a zesty citrus kick, balanced with Sea Salt and the nuttiness of Sesame Seeds. This is a versatile savory seasoning that pairs well with bread, meats, grilled vegetables, olive oil or sour cream dips, on flatbreads or eggs and cheese. Try it on your grilled fish too!  Our blends are roasted and ground by hand with love in micro batches several times a month in our Northern Virginia factory to ensure you always receive the freshest seasonings possible!
