This series was originally created as the drop caps for my book Future Relic, being released in March. Each capital letter of the alphabet was treated as a standalone drawing rather than a decorative typographic element. The letters became containers for ideas, objects, and environments, transforming the act of reading into something spatial and visual. What normally functions as a quiet graphic device at the beginning of a chapter instead becomes a focal point and an entryway. Across the alphabet, several recurring tropes emerge. Some letters take on architectural form with staircases, portals, and carved mass. Others move away from architecture entirely, incorporating palm fronds, animals, or organic growth. A separate group introduces references to sound and motion, drawing from audio equipment and automobile culture. These shifts are intentional.
