XXVIth Dynasty, Circa 646 to 525 BC. A cast bronze standing figure of the mummiform God, Osiris, wearing a double maat feather crown, with horns and the uraeus serpent frontice piece. He holds implements in both hands. Nice green surface patina with scattered areas of red-brown oxides. Excellent condition. Size: 9-5/8 inches (24.3cm) H. + wood block. Provenance: Ex Rhode Island Doctors Collection. Ex Dutch Coll before that.
