oil on canvas, 24"x30"x1.5" A painting created entirely by a palette knife to depict the busy streets of Washington D.C. In 2015, I worked in D.C. as a valet. It was a little bit like uber, I would get a ping on my phone and run to the person that needed their car parked, take their car and go park it in a garage. I would get a ping to return it as well when they needed it. Every day I drove into the city, I experienced the busyness and beauty of 14th street. This was one of the intersections that pulled at me because of the reflective structures, so I decided to portray it.
