Arts & Crafts Sterling/14kt Moonstone Emerald Cluster Ring
A very unusual ring from the Arts & Crafts era (ca1910)! Crafted in sterling silver, the ring has a decorative design that frames a moonstone cabochon at the center. The moonstone cabochon rests in a closed foil back bezel settning, displaying a pale blue color and alluring iridescent flash. Surrounding the stone are eight vivid green emeralds, which alternate with delicate bead and wirework accents. The square-cut emeralds are each individually bezel set, adding a wonderful pop of vibrant color! Completing the design are applied 14kt yellow gold wirework accents along the band and border, creating a subtle mixed metals effect. is a simple band in the back, with an etched orange blossom motif at either shoulder.
