Abhyanga & Śirodhāra Treatment

Three Layers of Bliss A profoundly restorative three-part Ayurvedic treatment designed to relax, harmonize, and rejuvenate mind, body, and spirit. Your journey begins with Abhyanga—a 45-minute warm herbal oil massage that nourishes the skin, stimulates circulation and organ function, supports lymphatic flow, relaxes the mind, and helps remove stagnant waste (ama). The oils are carefully selected according to your unique constitution for maximum benefit. Next is Svedana, or herbal steam therapy, in our cedar sauna. This gentle heat opens the tissues, releases deep-seated toxins, reduces inflammation, improves circulation, and promotes overall healing and restoration. The experience concludes with Śirodhāra, a traditional Ayurvedic therapy in which a steady stream of warm oil flows across the forehead and Ajna Chakra. Profoundly calming and rejuvenating, Śirodhāra helps quiet the nervous system, balance the brain waves, dispel stress, and awaken the senses to a state of deep peace.
