A Covid City

size: 18 x 24 in. medium: graphite and acryilic paint on drawing paper This piece was inspired by photograph. I found it interesting because of the way in which it captures an urban scene with only a single person standing in it. This demonstrates how Covid-19 has affected cities; less traffic is seen as more people as sequestered at home. (Originally this piece was drawn using graphite; however, I decided to paint over it using expressive lines).
