Two Leaves' Heart Dance

Two colorful leaves that had fallen to the ground, spotted on a hike thru the woods. They were laying on top of dried, brown leaves from previous seasons when I snapped the pic. While pondering the photo in the studio, the 2 colorful leaves looked as though they were floating. So I added the aqua water & ripples beneath them for more color & visual interest. An original painting done using high quality, artist grade watercolor paints, on 300 lb. premium Arches watercolor 100% cotton fiber paper.
