This multi-generational family farm has been operational since 1978, but it is only in its first generation of coffee production. The current owner, Ricardo Ibarra Baumann, inherited the farm from his mother. Spanning 75 hectares with an additional 320 hectares dedicated to natural reserves, Finca Nuevo México practices a three-stage picking process to select only the ripest cherries. Our roaster, Bill, visited their operation a couple years back and was impressed by what they had going on. We've featured their coffee in the Rogue Wave a couple of times, but this will be the first time we've offered it as a lighter roasted single orig
