Mike & Becky Cusco Peru Dark Chocolate Bar

This super creamy and luscious 75% dark chocolate bar is one of my new favorites. It’s the one I’m reaching for more than any other lately, and as soon as I tried it, I knew it had to be part of my Barometer Chocolate collection.  In this elegant dark chocolate bar the tasting notes are citrus fruit evolving into a touch of mocha and cherry. There is no bitterness. The mouthfeel is perhaps one of the creamiest and loveliest in my collection. It melts exquisitely on the palate.  The fine flavor beans used to craft this bar come from the Cooperativa Agraria Agroindustrial Qori Warmi, founded in 2017 with common objectives such as the sustainability of the cacao value chain. This cooperative unites more than 30 women entrepreneurs growing cacao in the Vraem region, a place that has been associated with coca cultivation for cocaine production.
