Matt was introduced to the outdoors at a young age by his father and grandfather, creating a lifelong appreciation for nature that became a cherished family value passed down through generations. The memories he created in the field with his dad, grandfather, and brother remain vivid, yet it was his undeniable passion for fishing that truly set his heart ablaze. He honed his skills early on at The Lake of Egypt, where his grandparents owned a picturesque summer home. Each opportunity, whether during Spring Break, Easter, or extended summer visits, found Matt eagerly racing to the dock, ready to cast his line into the water.  Though his journey with fishing included many unforgettable seasons, Matt temporarily stepped away to carve out a career in tournament paintball, immersing himself in the competitive rush of the sport.
