18TH CENTURY SOLID BIRDS EYE MAPLE & FLAME CHERRY 4 POSTER CANNONBALL BED

We are proud to offer you this fabulous solid birds eye maple & flame cherry Four poster Federal period 18th century Cannonball bed. This bed started its life as a rope foundation bed, but was converted to accept framed bedding with its headboard receiving extra lengths. Each head & footboards are 45" tall, its interior measurements are 50" X 75" and its exterior measurements are 55 3/4" wide and 83 1/2" long. It requires a custom made rabbit edged box spring foundation that drops into the rail system, then a conventional full sized mattress lays over that. Each end of the rails are fastened with bed bolts.
