Deaccessed from an important New Hampshire of estate collection of an old wealthy antique collector. Once a rope foundation bed this bed had its rails professionally converted to accept framed bedding in the early 20th century as America moved away from horsehair stuffed bedding for sanity & health needs. It is made entirely from the most select cuts of the very busiest bst birds eye maple gaining. The grain is booth beautiful and fascinating from all aesthetic senses.
