1947 10 K High School Girl’s Class Ring Sz 6.25 Hammond IN 3.8 g

A 10 K gold rectangular high school ring with a crest for Hammond High School in Hammond, IN. The ring dates from approximately 1947. The crest is overlayed over what appears to be mother of pearl.  The inside of the shank is marked 10 K. There is what appears to be a jewelry mark just above this, but I can’t make it out. Monogrammed “B S” on the inner band. The ring belonged to my mother and those were her initials in high school.  MEASUREMENTS Size 6 ¼Weighs .13 oz (3.8 g) CONDITION There are light scratches to the gold, and it could stand additional cleaning.
