Antique Chinese Jadeite Jade Clothing Ornaments 19th Century – Lot of 5
Five hard and dense jadeite ornaments for clothing, fabrics or wooden objects such as a box lid. They have a nice green coloring. One lotus flower is nearly white jade with apple jade inclusions There are five jades: two with the shape of a lotus flower, one that looks like a lotus seed pod, one a flower, and one that looks like a peach with leaves. They have green inclusions on a lighter matrix and a translucence when held to a light. They have a weight to them and are dense. The two lotus flowers have incising on both sides to resemble petals. The peach has incising only on one side. The small flower has incising on both sides. The lotus pod has no incising. There are drilled holes in all but the small flower.
