A colorful cloisonné paktong Chinese tobacco water pipe with decorations of fruit, flowers and cash coins.   The silver looking white alloy paktong metal has been fashioned into a water pipe with a pipe cleaner and a set of tweezers. The tweezers are attached with a copper linked chain. There is an old cord that is attached near the mouthpiece that has a decorative brass fitting. The base is flat.   There is a maker's mark in Chinese characters under the hinged lid.   MEASUREMENTS   10 ½” (26.7 cm) tall x 3” (7.6 cm) long x 1 3/8” (3.4 cm) wide. Weighs 13.7 oz (390  g)   CONDITION   There are two slight dents on the edge of the base. There are some enamel losses that occur mainly on the short ends of the body. One fitting for that goes into a hole in the body is missing. The cord is loose at the ends and the cord shows age and color loss.   A hands on decorative paktong pipe that is entire. It has a nice shiny silver look.
