Pair of Bear on Log Bookends Dodge 1940's

A well-detailed, shiny, copper-colored pair of bear bookends by the Dodge Company. The pair of molded pot metal bookends are shaped like a bear walking on a log. The casting is deep with good detail, and the metal has been given a copper patina. There is an old green felt on one bookend and a cardboard insert on the base of the other bookend. DODGE USA is molded into the back of the base both bookends. MEASUREMENTS5 in (12.7 cm) wide x 2 1/8 in (5.4 cm) deep x 4 in (10.2 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lbs 6.2 oz (1080 g) CONDITIONThere are no breaks, chips, cracks, dents or repairs. There is some slight wear to the copper patina, especially around the face. The felt on one bookend is missing. A great pair of bear bookends to use in your library.
