Pair of Egyptian Revival Pharaoh Face Bookends Gilded Bronze Circa 1935

A great pair of heavy bronze bookends from the 1930s with an Egyptian Revival motif.   The cast bronze bookends are in the shape of pharaoh heads with gilded bronze. They have open backs, with the words GENUINE SOLID BRONZE are molded into the backs. The bases have newer green felt dots on the base.   MEASUREMENTS   5 3/8” (13.5 cm) wide x 3 ¾” (9.5 cm) deep x 3 1/2” (8.9 cm) tall. Weighs 4 lbs 4.6 oz (1945 g)   CONDITION   There are no dents, cracks, or breaks. There is wear to the gilded bronze.   A pair of bookends that have that ancient Egyptian look. Great for so many decors or a collection.
