A white stoneware food mold with an ear of corn and husk that was a useful item in the Victorian kitchen. The mold has a mouth border of a crenelated shape reminiscent of a castle. The foot is shallow and base is slightly convex. The number ON 31 has been a molded on the base. MEASUREMENTS 6 ½” (16.5 cm) long x 4 ½” (11.4 cm) wide x 3 ¼” (8.3 cm) tall. Weighs 1 lb 9.9 oz (735 g) bake The mold has no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. The glaze has light stains, crazing and wear from use.  I love food molds on a shelf showing their interesting inner designs.
