A well-detailed food mold with the design in the center of an ear of corn. It will look great with a display of other food molds. I love the yellow ware color that goes so well with wood shelves and furniture. Eight-sided low-fired ceramic food mold with an inside molded pattern of an ear of corn in the center well which is then bordered by an elongated dentate pattern on the sides. There is a ¾-inch plain border above the patterned sides. The underside or actually the top of the mold has an oval ring above a rounded center. The glaze is thin and translucent. It gives the yellow body clay a nice yellow buff color. It feels smooth and looks shiny. The entire piece is glazed. It rests flat on a surface. There are no marks or labels. MEASUREMENTS8” (20.3 cm) long x 6 ½” (16.5 cm) wide x 3 ½” (8.9 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lb 0.6 oz (925 g) CONDITION There are two small edge chips on the inside rim and one larger chip. There are three small base edge chips and one larger chip. There are no cracks
