The Chieftains Yakut is working yakut style knife. The blade is hand forged from 5160 high carbon spring steel. The blade measures 4.5 inches long, 1 inch wide, 1/8 inch thick, and has an overall length of 8.25 inches. The handle is segmented karelian birch that is dyed blue, copper, 15N20, black spacer material, with copper wire wrapped through the blade. The blade features a 3-inch fuller, a convex scandi grind pattern with a flat grind on the opposite side. This grind pattern makes it a robust bushcraft tool as well as easily sharpened.
